Pantor 20 belongs to the Proton Pump Inhibitors class of medicines. It is a prescription medicine that is used for the short-term treatment of digestive diseases in which stomach acid and bile flows back and irritates the food-pipe, also known as GERD. This medicine works by suppressing the production of acid in the stomach. Pantor 20 Tablet is also used for :

• the management of inflammation and irritation of the food pipe
• to treat the overproduction of stomach acid
• to prevent stomach ulcers caused by the use of certain medicines (called as, NSAIDs).
