Omezyn-20 Capsule

Omezyn-20 Capsule is used for the short-term treatment of ulcers in the upper part of the small intestine (duodenal ulcer). This medicine works by preventing the amount of acid production in the stomach by blocking the organic enzyme system. This medicine helps by reducing the level of acid in the stomach. Omezyn-20 is also used for the short-term treatment of stomach ulcer, to treat heartburn and indigestion caused by GERD, for the short-term treatment of inflammation of the food pipe, for the long-term treatment of overproduction of gastric acid (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome), for the long-term treatment of cancer of the endocrine gland, and for the long-term treatment of increase in the number of mast cells in the body (systemic mastocytosis).

Omezyn-20 Capsule may also be used together with other medicines to treat certain conditions as recommended by the doctor.
